All suites feature gardens and terraces to enjoy the sun. Outside and inside dining areas as well as smartly equipped kitchens invite you to cook the sumptuous delicacies that you may have found at the local farmers markets or in the small shops of the valley.

IL GIARDINO - VILLA SUITE

Ancient stone oaks filter the rays of sun, the elegant french doors are wide open and let in the smells and sounds of the garden. That describes a typical summer day at “Il Giardino.”, our intimate garden suite. The table for your al fresco meal can then be set under the branches of the grand, old chestnut tree. On cooler nights, the fireplace provides cozy comfort and a nice, romantic atmosphere. “Il Giardino” is a place for dreamy souls and is adjacent to our “Capella,” a room of stillness, which invites to the practice of meditation and yoga.

LA FORESTERIA

Only a few steps from the main Villa, walking through the enchanted honeysuckle pergola you will reach the old caretaker’s cottage, situated within our historic country estate.  Opulent French doors and windows to enjoy spectacular views towards the Mediterranean Sea and sometimes even beyond to the coastline of Cinque Terre are a specialty of this fine accommodation featuring one bedroom, a spacious bathroom and a well equipped kitchen with living- and dining area.

As the sun rises La Foresteria is illuminated by the golden glow of the first rays which you can enjoy right from your comfortable bed. Wonderful paintings created at Villa Barca by German artist Heidrun Brocker accent the walls and pull in the ever-present nature as the main focal point. Start your day indulging in the breathtaking views in the privacy of your own patio. Even during cooler times you can enjoy the vista from behind the panoramic windows while sitting next to the comfortable pellet fireplace
