LA VILLA BARCA

High above the valley our private roof terrace provides such an amazing vantage point that we named the adjacent magnificent suite “La Terrazza.” On clear days guests of "La Terrazza" enjoy spectacular views towards the Mediterranean Sea and sometimes even beyond to the coastline of Cinque Terre.  Even during cooler times you can enjoy the breathtaking vista from behind the panoramic windows of the spacious living room, while you are sitting in front of the open fireplace. The bedroom is located on the garden side of the house, shaded by the ancient stone oaks, and promises a tranquil and restful sleep. La Terrazza is our largest and most elegant suite and a perfect fit for travelers who would like to splurge a bit.

Olive trees, rosemary and oleander bushes: all the beauty of the Ligurian countryside spreads out right in front of “La Campagna.” Just a few steps down from the terrace and private garden of this suite you will find our wellness area with outside shower, foot bath and a heated infinity-pool and refreshing plunge pool.

From the living room, where a wood burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere during the cooler part of the year, you have beautiful views over the valley. The bedroom is located in the back part of the unit right next to a typical, picturesque Italian courtyard. “La Campagna” is part of the oldest wing of Villa Barca and the rustic, ancient beams of the living room give testimony to the antique history of this place.
