Three couples run the estate and will do their utmost to make your stay a memorable one.
Jürgen & Thibault, Rainer & Marcus and Hans & Luk make up this happy blended family: six different personalities, four nationalities, five languages fluently spoken, and each with their own experiences and life paths have created this close-knit team.

What brings us together is our passion for hospitality.

Villa Barca is a quintessential Italian countryside manor house built in the early 1800s. It now hosts a luxury vacation resort that sits high above the romantic Lerrone Valley. Nestled between the coastline of the Italian Riviera and the peaks of the Ligurian Alps, the gay owned and operated mansion is a perfect retreat away from it all. Villa Barca welcomes all guests looking for a wonderful, exclusively inclusive vacation for body & soul. Unlike gay-friendly accommodations we do not simply market to gay guests but are part of the LGBT community. Our away from it all location in the middle of nature offers mindfulness and acceptance. Just 20 minutes by car are the sandy beaches of Alassio, one of Italy's most mundane seaside resorts. The Lerrone Valley offers all kinds of outdoor activities, from hiking and mountain biking to laid-back picknick hours.  For the more leisurely tourist the Ligurian coast shows itself as a true treasure box: cozy little seaside towns, steep mountain passes that lead to old, medieval villages and the famous Via Aurelia that brings you straight to the chic Corniche of France's Cote d 'Azur, where you can explore along the road famous places like Menton, Monte Carlo and Nice.

After a day full of activities VILLA BARCA awaits its guests with the unique atmosphere that this luxury vacation resort has to offer. The Villa sits on 15.000 square meters of Mediterranean garden and olive growth. On clear days we can see across the Mediterranean sea and look as far as La Spezia and Cinque Terre on the other side of the Golf of Genua.
